Yeah...don't. I actually traded my Dodge SRT for my Toyota. Dodge is terrible on SO many fronts. The service is THE worst I have ever experienced from multiple dealers. The product is badly engineered, and cheaply executed. This is a very bad combiantion.

I actually had a service manager tell me that they took my modded SRT out for lunch with thier service techs... Cue the Ferris Bueller movie clips ...

I was so livid I couldn't even speak. And when I got out of the shop at closing, I shifter from fisrt to second to test whether they had actually fixed my boost problem...I had a HUGE backfire and absolutely zero boost. I took it back and the SOBs refused to help me saying that it must have been something I did!

They also accused me of "racing your vehicle because the back seat was taken out." I was actually trying to put a system in it...seeing as I'm a stereo guy and had NEVER taken my car to the track.

Do NOT buy into a losing venture.

Had a Neon, bought new in 1999, at 32,000 it was blowing oil. Un effing believable> the only thing else I ever has that was as bad was a Vega. American four cylinders what a joke.

Yeah - I want my 1 minute 22 seconds back! (actually, I'll settle for the 30 seconds I endured before turning it off....)

I had a '75 Pontiac Astre. A Vega with a different nameplate. It was an awesome little car. I drove it hard, and it would fly. It started using a little oil when it got past 100,000 miles. At about 120K, I think, my wife got hit in it and it was totaled. She was OK.

Y. H. : The Astre probably had a different block, or at least lined cylinders. The first Vegas had an unlined 4cyl. aluminum blocks from some gauwdawful alloy and the pistons wore out the cylinders at about 40,000 miles consistently across all o9f the first couple model years. I believe the engine you were probably running was called the Iron Duke 4, which, as the name implies was made of iron, or maybe it was on of GMs rather dependable 60s-70s one of the sixes. Personally, I never owned an American economy car I liked and I owned several of them.

A few years back (before I got my Yaris), I actually was very close to buying a PT Cruiser GT with a five speed. It was white with black leather, moonroof, navi, etc. The PT GT was pretty fast, and was a decent car. However, I think in the end, I probably would NOT have been happy with it, and would've ended up in a Yaris anyway.
