Whats up everyone, I need a recommendation on an amp that will adequately power two 900 rms DVC 4 ohm subs. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13593 These two subs to be exact. I need someone who has had personal experience or knows first hand how well the amp performs. I've already blew 200 bucks on 4,000 wat pos amp that can barely power 1 speaker. Its a long story, will tell if asked, but it ends in tears

Long story short, the amp only does a combined power of about 650 watts.

Anyway, i've been considering several amps, such as http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17654_Hifonics+BXi+2010D.html wired at 1 ohm. Any input or advice would be much appreciated.

the amp you are looking at would do the same "barely powering" only for both.

it's all opinion.

There are MANY good quality amplifiers out there that can fill this need of yours. An Exile Xi 2500.1 is the first all around good value I can suggest. I've met the owners and engineers of Exile. They're the ones that made the old school PG amps that are legendary now. I'm using an Xi 1500.1 in my setup (or it will be in once I get back from the hellhole I'm in now).
