I just know I'm gonna have trouble sleeping tonight. Anytime I have slept in the past week I've been dreaming about my Yaris. Dreamt about changing the oil the night before I did that, and so on and so on....

Tomorrow is the car show, I have to get up SUPER early to get started on all the work I want to get done before the show, and I'll be at work tonight till at least 1am...

What should I do?
Swallow some tylenol PM and HOPE my alarm wakes me up to get my work done?
Start washing my car in the middle of the night?
Try sleeping in the car?

I dunno........

If your cell phone can set multiple alarms, have 3 set to times varying 10 mins apart from each....

I do that all the time if i come home late from a house party/club...and have to wake up in less than 4 hours... >_<

You could just watch some Leno or Letterman. The boredom usually knocks me out

LMAO I DO THAT ALL THE TIME!!!!!!

a glass of chocolate milk perhaps?

that never works for me...

What should I do?

You Either
A) Force yourself in bed... which sucks and usually doesnt work too good
B) Watch a movie that you have seen a bunch of times. It usually does the trick when it doesnt have too much action
C) Drink some 5 hour energy drinks or NOS power shots and stay up for the next 24+ hours
D) Find a friend to come to your house and wake u up at the time needed

Got some Ativan? LOL. If not, don't drink anything that has sugar in it, so that includes warm milk. I've read on Yahoo that counting backwards from 300 by three's (300, 297, etc) should clear your mind of what's bothering you, so it'll put you to sleep. hahahaha.

If you're planning on doing that 5-Hour, eat some carbs with some fat before hand. If not, then the energy blend (fat and carb enzymes I believe) won't have anything to break down for energy. I ate before I drank a bottle once, and it kept me up for 13-hours straight.

uh, i have 5 on my phone and 2 on my actual alarm clock... however, i sleep like the dead... there have been times that i wake up late knowing for damn sure that i had set all seven, then i look and see them all turned off... absolutely no memory of waking up enough to turn them off...

i work some pretty weird hours myself and always set both my cell phone and the regular alarm clock. i don't know why, but this gives me the ability to fall asleep pretty easily without having to worry about not waking up(it helps to put one of the clocks far enough away from your bed so you have to actually get up to turn it off). kac, i've got your cell # via the pm you sent yesterday - what time do you want me to call you in the morning? i'll be washing my car anyways getting ready for the trip to dayton!

that doesn't help you sleep. You'll crash if you're drunk enough, but then you wake up feeling all weird. I DNK, I don't recommend it. Plus the next day you feel like sh...t, not recommended if you're gonna drive anywhere.

Chocolate has caffeine so avoid that. Carbs (potatoes, bread) will work. They have that effect. Maybe you ought to eat a turkey sandwich or something.

What works best for me is to watch TV. I DNK why but it puts me to sleep when I watch TV from bed, within 15 minutes or so, even better than reading but reading works, too (takes longer for some reason).

makes sense!

I should have said when I watch TV late at night to go to sleep it's usually something silly, just to relax, not a great debate about the economic crisis or something like that.
