I have a 2006 Diesel engine Yaris, and when ever its really cold or the engine is wet, the belt makes a loud pinging noise for 7-10 seconds once I start the car. I am assuming that the belt "pinging" is actually the belt slapping against the belt housing. I have repeatedly gone to the dealer and they said this is perfectly normal. Are there any other owners that have experienced this?
