Does anyone have any pics of a Yaris sedan with a baby carseat in the back. I m in the market for a new ride and the Yaris is first on the list. Might spend thousands making her look good but first comes first. Gotta fit that baby in the backseat. Is there plenty of room for the passenger still? So any pics?

The Sedan has lots of room in the back seat.

I don't have any pictures or anything, but my finance babysits a set of twins+their older brother, you can fit 2 car seats and a booster seat in the back seat, or two booster seats in the back seat.

Yeah post that pic up whenever you get a chance.
Im in Frankfort
Is the passenger seat very far forward. Dont wanna be sitting with my knees on the dash. We put the carseat in a Xterra the other day and my knees were touching the dash. Im like 5 10. Thats ridiculous.

I would think that the seat spacing is mighty similar between the 5 door LB and Sedan. On of my kids was in a toddler car seat when we got our Yaris and since has moved to a booster seat. I have an Xterra as well, and the Yaris definitely has more room between the rear and front seat than the X does.

5 door hatch has more room for a baby seat than the sedan....i was fitting our car seat into cars a couple weeks ago. most rear room: gen1 vibe/matrix

but seriously, the 5dr hatch has more room in the front w/ a baby seat behind the passenger seat than the sedan does...

we're past the infant seat now, and there's no effin way we'd get our daughter in/out of the car....

its too bad that you live in the states and would have to buy new....5dr 5spd w/ power locks, windows, a/c and has 25000kms for 12999

thought about trading in our 3dr...but we already have a second car that works ok w/ the baby seat

if i could do it again, id be driving a 5dr

I am 6'3" and I fit just fine with the rear-facing car seat in the back. The only thing I had to adjust was the passenger seat since my wife likes to have it reclined a bit. But she is smaller than me so it didn't affect her at all.

Ive got the 3door hatch, my wife has the sedan and in my experience there were issues with fitting a rear facing seat in both the cars. I think the child seat its self is the over all determining factor (of the 3 different seats I tryed only one of the infant seats didnt give much of a problem and the baby out grew that seat after awhile). In the sedan, we have to move the front seat forward alot to give the childseat enuff room for it to installed like its instructions called for. In the 3door it was a little better but getting the kid out of the back was a pain.

I almost traded in the sedan for something larger at one point because of all this, but lucky the babys big enuff for the child seat to be forward facing now, so were keeping the car... well until we have another child and have the same problem again that is.

Over all... the best way to get your self a definitive answer would be to take your child seat down to the dealer ship and test fit it.

you shouldnt have problem putting baby seat on the back... pretty roomy there anyways. and it's a yaris sedan ... nothing more.
