Yaris on Smallville?

Anyone watch Smallville last night? I'm not 100% certain, but I could have sworn the car Chloe and Jimmy were sitting in was a blue liftback Yaris. I only noticed a shot of the passenger rear quarterpanel, and it looked like a side view of the Yaris tail light. I AM 100% certain that while Chloe and Jimmy were discussing their business that there was a Toyota commercial playing in the background on their radio, and it mentioned fantastic gas mileage. Wonder how many other people noticed that little touch of product placement? :biggrin:

I believe its the previous gen ECHO hatch, that was sold only in Canada before they brought over the new second gen Yaris...I saw the hatch on Psych as well. Kind of funny how the show is suppose to be in the U.S. but its filmed in Canada, from what I heard. :thumbsup:

dude, more than half the US-based shows are filmed in Canada... much cheaper to do it there or something... And some of the greatest TV actors are canadian too (William Shatner, for example :wink:)

Well, it's confirmed. Chloe drives a Yaris on Smallville. The didn't show it on last night's episode, but she actually referenced "the back seat of my Yaris". Not only is she smart and hot, but she has good taste in cars. :thumbsup:

Aside: William Shatner is Canadian???? Huh. Never heard of that before. "Fire..... photon... torpedoes, eh?" :laugh:

Shatner is both Canadian (from Quebec) AND Jewish. No one is his peer when it comes to over-acting. It's a thing of beauty to watch.

I love Smallville,yes he will be flying soon,he should go threw training at the end of this season,then next season will be even better.Plus theyll start having some more comic book vilians involved,plus more heros,like the Green Arrow,which will either be killed off,or written off in some way soon.
