Will these Miata wheels fit on my Yaris without any modifications or spacers?

yes -- Tamago was the first to point this out I think, and there are quite few additional choices out there for our cars with this information.

Sorry, they photo isn't showing up. Are you talking about the "daisy" 14" Miata wheels? If so, they fit my 08 LB fine. I use these for my R-comp AutoX wheels. Most 14's should clear the calipers, as many Yarii come with factory 14's.
Barber, have you modded anything on the hub/shims? Not sure why you had a problem, but it certainly raises a concern about using other wheels.

Hmm...gonna go throw my autox wheels ont he car this evening and get a close look to see how tight the clearance is. I wonder if there was some variation int he daisy wheels over the years they made them. I seem to recall some mention on the dfwmiata forum that some rims were 5.5 and some 5.0 wide, but not sure which style they were. Glad you brought it up.

To my knowledge no...You had the daisy wheels, then the hollow spokes, and the super light BBS wheels that came on the M-Edition miatas

the wheel shown was not what i was referring to ;) i was talking about Spec Miata wheels (15X7) because the hub bore matches toyota

Miata, spec Miata, whatever -- without your post I wouldn't have known ANY miata wheels were compatible.

dumb question - does this mean i can go onto a site like tire rack and type in '19XX year mazda miata' as my vehicle and shop the wheels(and offsets) available for it on my yaris? i've been looking at some wheels on there, but the offset is +32 on a 16x6.5 wheel(i've already tried checking miata wheels, but i wasn't sure if they'll work). i just want something that 'bolts on' without having to make suspension mods. also, i'm on df's right now.

first off, why u want a 16.5" wheel....tires are outrageous and very slim pickings. second, wheels are outrageous compared to a straight 16 or 17.

any way, there was a lot of talk on honda forums about switching over to a SVT ford focus wheel cuz they were cool lookin or whatever. any way, anything that will fit honda fits chevy, ford, dodge, mazda, nissan, toyota, and any other company out there that makes a wheel with 4x100mm.

i understand that the hubs are sometimes different, but thats why we have rotary tools like die grinders...and aftermarket sales stuff like alignment rings.

He never said anything about a 16.5" wheel. He said a 16x6.5" a very common size.

LOL way to destroy a perfectly good set of wheels.

also, the ford focus SVT is 4X108, NOT 4X100

Well...yes and no. You need to know that the bore, offset and bolt pattern are compatible, but you would be able to see what's availalbe on a vehicle with similar sizing using one of those website databases.

the miata is a fine car to search for wheels. tire rack is extremely conservative.

if you want a nice aggressive fitment you'll want to use an E30 3series (15X8 +20) :D

The 90-93 Miata "Daisy" wheel will NOT clear the brake calipers on the 08 Yaris. I just checked mine, and you would need a decent wheel spacer to make it work. I guess the only time I ran them on my Yaris for Autox was only on the rears. Long story. So, there you go.

Will it work with 20mm spacers?

I'm using 5mm wheel spacers on the front, with ARP extended wheel studs. As mentioned previously, the back wheels fit without any modification.

I don't know anything about these sellers, but this is to give you an idea of what you need:

Hub Centric Wheel Spacers (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HUB-CENTRIC-Wheel-Spacers-Adapters-4x100-12X1-5-54-1mm-Scion-xA-xB-5MM-3-16-/191053763498?hash=item2c7bb113aa&vxp=mtr)
