Pep Boys every once in a while has a rebate so you can get five quarts of oil and a Purolator oil filter for $10. They let you buy up to 10 qts and two filters.

That's a big mistake. You lucked out. That's about six oil changes for forty bucks.

Yeah, I was expecting about $14.99 each. My friend already snatched up all the Valvoline, but I kept the Pennzoil for myself. I've still got a case of PP that I picked up for $3.99 per qt...I plan on doing a UOA on the PP (that's what's in the Yaris now), using the regular Pennz 5w30 at the next OCI, doing a UOA on it and comparing both results.
i'd be interested to hear the results of the UOA. i've been using PP 5W-30 for the last couple oil changes on the liftback and i'm very happy with it so far!

So have I and I've got a feeling I'll see good results. That's a link I found a few days ago @ bobistheoilguy.
