Advice Please?

I currently have one 10" Pioneer Premier sub w/ amp and JBL rear speakers. I'm looking to upgrade the front speakers to components but I'm not sure what I should be looking at in terms of brand, price, etc.

Also, I'm thinking I need an amp for the speakers, but I don't know whether I should go with a 2-channel amp (for just the fronts) or a 4-channel amp (to power all four speakers).
