About the 2009 Yaris foglights...

I just got a 2009 5 door hatchback, and I was wondering if the fog light kits for earlier 3 door models would fit mine... Does anyone know?

The shape of the fog light light mount (the black plastic piece where the light would be installed) is different on the '09.

So, a fog light kit that includes this piece will not fit.

Exactly, that's why I asked, cuz I havent seen any kit for that mount, but I have seen pics on the internet of the car with the fog lights. I even went to the Official Toyota Site and the fog lights dont even appear as an accessory... So, yeah...

The lights themselves and the wiring are the same .
you just need to buy the Bezial (black face plate )
there was some for sale on here a weeek or so ago .
or you can get them from toyota for about $25.00 a peice :thumbup:

I'd like to get one of these kits. I don't want to pay for an '07-'08 kit + the proper bezels.

At that price your still better of buying the 08 kit and the 09 face plates sepperatly .:thumbsup:

Unless someone wants to organise a group buy of 6-8 people.

oh and that would be with the correct relay for under the dash ETC.

I hope they start releasing complete '09 kits for under $100 USD. They were available for the '07s for less than $100 a year after the '07s were released. It's been a year already since the '09s came out and still no complete '09 kit in the US and definitely not under $100.

09 Kits cost me $190.NZ and 06-08 cost me $170.NZ to put togeather
with the correct relays and such.
But as above i have to buy them by the box lot 8 units.
+ you still need to freight them :thumbsup:
