Turned on the TV and saw a blurb on the news about Patrick Swayze passing away today.

you should watch donnie darko... he's in that and it's pretty good. can't think of anything else off the top of my head. and yeah sucks that he died. the older i get the more people keep dying. it's less than comforting to say the least.

My mother died also young at pancreascarcinoma almost 7 years ago.

If you have this disease it's almost if not always a death sentence.

He was a damn good actor in Point Break and Ghost (the only chick-flick I could stand to watch). I never got the chance to meet him in real life, but I heard he was one of the nicest guys in show business. Glad to know the fame didn't go to his head (take notes Kanye) :smile:

Almost 1 year ago at the 9th october my dad got a heart attack and got that same day (the day my mother died) a bypass operation; he died the 10th of october.

That was a really big crisis point in my life. Before getting 30 neither your mom and dad alive anymore.

So the ''story'' of Patrick Swayze got my attention when i heard he had pancreascarcinoma.

It reminds me that i have to live my life with a lot of pleasure and giving love to other people.
Everybody gets a oppurtunity once in his/her life; it's up to yourself to get the full out of your life i think.

For example driving in a Yaris :wink:
