Does anyone knwo why we can't get AGX's for the YARIS, or can we, and I just don't know it? Are there any other similarly adjustable strut/shocks on the market that are as affordable? I love being able to dial my Miata for various autoX surfaces, and still get a nice ride on the way home. :iono:

There are the Tokico HTS's but they are around $800 I think but that's it for adjustable

Does the xA or xB use the same struts as the Yaris LB?

Beyond the question of the same struts, are the mounts the same?

Actually, the TRD Sportivo is made by WAY DO, and is dark blue. The "red" TRD struts are no longer made. Those may have been made by KYB, but not sure.

they actually dont make a set of agx for our cars. thats one of the first things that i looked for when purchasing my lowering springs.

You can't get AGX's because KYB doesn't make any for our cars... it would be great if they did... as the HTS are worth almost a set of coilovers...
And the Scion xD shares the same suspension as the Yaris. Same shocks and springs.
But this won't be of much use.... as there are no AGX's for the xD either.
I wonder if the Tokico blues for the xD have the same valving as the Yaris ones... since the xD is a little heavier.
Does anyone know if the part numbers are different?

i bet there is a good chance a Fit rear shock may fit. that should be considerable stiffer.

Ehem...
I do remember when I was looking into buying C-one shock/strut combos, that they look similar to KYB AGX setups. I have seen the C-ones in person.
Adjustments are very similar, scary similar.
So it is possible that C-one simply contracted KYB to make them a set for the Yaris, then sold it under their name.

Can you tell me more about the C-ones, like where you found them? I can't seem to find anything on them. Thx!

I think I'm going to go for the Tokico HTS's. Half the price, all the adjustment. Now as soon as Garm has some pricing/availability on those.

They FIT the part numbers are going to be a little different because the xD is heavier than the Yaris so they have to stiffer suspension on it.

I think we actually need pics of BOTH Xd and Yaris parts side by side, then a proper install without modification to assure they fit properly.
You just cant claim things work nowadays and then expect people to believe it, gosh...what do you think this is, the internet?

They FIT the part numbers are going to be a little different because the xD is heavier than the Yaris so they have to stiffer suspension on it.
Not one company example: Eibach, H&R, KYB, Tanabe, KSport, Drop Zone, NEX use the same part # for the Yaris and the xD.

Here are the AGX's for the Yaris: http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1375.
Just sent them an email to verify if they will fit our cars or the previous gen yaris. They can also
ship from their warehouse in L.A.

XD part #'s: HB3240 & HB3239 FRT, HE2993 Rear
interesting... i wonder if the fronts have stiffer valving too? ive heard over and over that the struts/shocks are identical, but i have never seen anyone verify it.

Off topic but are the part number on a 1NZ-FE throttle body the samw as the one off the 1ZZ-FE? Probably not but you can put the 1ZZ one on the 1NZ motor. I believe Tamago has seen the parts from both up close maybe he will chime in
