Some of you have seen my Custom Woofer box that i made for my 08 HB. I am going to be making another one this week for a member on yaris world to trade for some goodies for my car. I figured while i was making one i would see if anyone would be interested in having one made up.

boxes are made of 3/4" MDF sealed/screwed and tight as can be. You will have to remove your spare tire to be able to use it.

I can carpet it or leave it un carpeted. but will come with the terminal for the connections.

i will work on the nubers (mounting depth for speaker and VAS) so that you can see if your woofers would work.

to make sure it fits i would need your woofer model number so i can make sure the whole is big enough to mount it.

they are heavy. i'll weigh mine this week when i am building it but they are great because they dont take up any space in the back of the car :)

here are some pics of mine (note the custom ones wont come with the plexi)

You think there would be anyway to make 2 of these fit in one of you boxes...
And still sound good

0.5 ~ 1.0 Cubic Feet is the recommended VAS so its doable. it would probably have to be two seperate chambers .. its doable though :)

okay. the biggest i can do is 2x10" woofer and thats pushing it

All enclosures will be sealed.

a single box will have 1 cu/ft of VAS and double box will have two chambers at half of that so .50cu ft. I plan to pack them with poly fill if need be to make up for lost room so you can keep the low end. if the sub needs more VAS

Boxes will come carpeted. all sides are screwed together and sealed with glue :)
I carpeted my enclosure with a nice felty fabric that has held up really well.

I would imagine that Anubisx99 would love to do some custom plexi grills if you wanted them.

here are the specs

3/4" MDF Construction Screwed and Glued.
1 Cubic Foot VAS or Two chambers at .5 cubic foot
Box weight is roughly 40lbs give or take.
will come with speaker terminal installed.

The woofer cutout hole will be cut to YOUR woofers specs so make sure you have a model number for me :)

Price will be $175 for either the single or double box.

shipping Box dimensions should be about 42x23x11 and about 45lbs weight My zip code is 03867

i did a check from 03867 to 90210 and the cost says $65 via UPS ground which isnt too bad. usually its a little more at the UPS store. I would think it would be close to that.

The platform will be carpeted in black and the inset where the woofer is mounted can be a color of your choice. I currently have some blue and green fabric i can use.

turn around should be quick. I have mon-thurs to work on them .

Thanks!
PM me for paypal address if you would like one!

yeah the biggest i can make the box is 23" wide which makes it impossible to fit two 12" woofers.

Not if you fiberglass instead of build a wooden box.
Build the frame a little bigger then the opening int he spare tire well. And Glass up the inside of the box. Done and done.
Could easily do bigger to fit 2 12's since the subs taper in.

yeah I want to keep these to a template so i can make up a Jig to get the job done consistently.
I also make it so you can keep those black storage things in there. That is what the box actually sits on/in to make it more OEM looking and fitting. it also keeps the box off the body of the car so that it doesnt rattle.

You can still keep the storage things if you do it right.
You make the box to the shape of the edge of the spare tire well. Basically a few extra boards.
And you can still fit 2 12's.

its certainly doable. i just havent worked with fiberglass and dont care to.
