i thought AEM dos the CAI and AFE does the SRI.

No, aFe makes the CAI II. I don't know exactly why it's called a CAI, when it has a short ram design. However, it does have the metal heat shield around it to prevent engine heat, i guess. Garm had an explanation why it was called a CAI; i just forget it.
