do you have to drill anything or does it fit to some threaded OEM holes?

No drilling involved, you need to remove 4 OEM bolts and install the ones provided (which are longer to accomodate the hitch attachment plates) in the threaded OEM holes.

Yeah, I got the basic version, whatever they call it. Didn't even have a radio. That was my first project :-) The hitch was my second :-)
