fyi i have the same set and i always hit the middle one going over speed bumps. the place where it bolts potrudes a bit. But after awile the bumps shaved off enough of the metal so it no longer hits =)

I can't even get my middle megan off. It looks like the bottom of a well-used skateboard now thanks to all the horrid speed bumps in portland. :laugh:

When I get new bars, I will be going with the GT Spec. At the time the megans were what was available and the right price.
