I HATE snow.
It's already melted though.
Nebraska is crazy. It snowed about an inch and a half overnight, stuck, the melted all away today

We are still enjoying beautiful weather, but not for long...
We've got a rainstorm coming in next week and the temperatures
are expected to drop sharply.
I've not resized the picture so you can maybe spot the Blue Angels
doing some manoeuvers over the San Francisco bay
(yes, they do fly over the buildings when they come from the airport,
and some people are really scared when they do that, in fact, they
even went as far as getting petitions circulated to get them to stop coming,
but then we got petitions circulated to get them to keep coming :laugh:)
On the right, you can see the island of Alcatraz with the prison buildings
still there, that's where Clint Eastwood filmed Dirty Harry "go ahead make my day"
photograph taken yesterday, Friday, from the roof of a building in SF.
Today, the Blue Angels had to cancel the show because of too much fog around
the Golden Gate Bridge, so you see, don't envy me too much, the weather is already turning.

Great picture! It's 20 degrees this morning. Probably a record low. I pitty the poor sob's that didn't blow out their sprinkler systems last week. There will be a lot of frozen pipes today.

Oh boy, I don't miss these cold winters at all (we had to let the faucets drip in the house, too) :frown:
But the picture of the Yaris covered in snow is great!
I like the pics you guys have posted!
Either one would make a good jigsaw puzzle for a cold winter's afternoon, and evening, and the next day, and the next day...

The winery across the street let the sprinklers run last night, and this is what it looked like this morning...

Thanks Kioshi. Unfortunately, I forgot to remember to enable high resolution on my camera, so all the pics were shot at low resolution... 'doh what a shame!! Lucky for me, San Francisco always makes a beautiful backdrop ;)
So who else wants to show us October in their 'hood? :)

^We've been having the same Blue Angels weather down here too. Too bad's the storm's moving in tonight to kill it. That must mean you guys must be getting alot of rain right now.
I'll post pics tomorrow or Wednesday

^ Not yet. Storm was supposed to hit at midnight but it's late.
I just went out and put a tarp on the deck furniture, and put away some stuff that the wind would blow away in my neighbor's backyard, if I left it there. Probably will hit tomorrow when I'm gone.

That's weird. When I made that post it was already drizzling outside, so I automatically assumed it'd be worse in your parts. That's the way it's always been
We're suppose to get it by this afternoon. I'll take a pic if I get home from work before sundown

Well, it's full on now, so I'll try to take a pictue, same angle maybe so you can see the difference. You can see 3 feet in front of your face in some parts of San Francisco sometimes, when it gets real foggy.
