Blue Tint

I saw a 350z today with blue tint all around on a very simular blue color car. I think i might do it . I really liked the look of it . it didnt really darken the car but looked sweet

anyone on YW blue tint a blue car yet?

One thing I'd be interested to see or hear about with colored tint - My friend in high school had purple sun glasses, and if you wore them for 20-30 minutes and took them off, everything would look green when you took them off, because your eyes had adjusted for the purple.. I wonder if you could get the same effect with car tint :D

its killer hot in the summer driving 30-45min with my side toward the sun then on the way home when the sun is going down i have the same problem. stupid laws cops need to stop being pansies and let us have tint

I'm not encouraging that you should break the law or anything, but I don't really see it to be a problem to lightly tint your front side windows. Just as long as the officer can clearly see your face behind the tint, it shouldn't be too big of a problem. At worse a simple fix it ticket, hopefully it's cheap where you live :P I see that it's also illegal to tint with the colors of a rainbow where you live. You can risk it, but tint at your own risk. Seriously though, don't you think the cops have something better to do then pull you over for having slightly tinted front side windows?

Yes I know... "I have my windows tinted in the front and I got a ticket..." stories are out there but I'm sure if you drive w/ the front windows down while driving it should bring less attention to you. Also how you drive,what's on your car, and where you drive should help get less attention from the cops too.

California really isn't that bad, at least we don't have to get those damn inspections every year or whatever like a lot of east coast states seem to have.

Kind of an offensive comment... unless you're expressing your happiness about not being able to tint your front side windows... but aside from that, I did see a blue Honda Civic about a month ago with the blue tint and I couldn't keep my eyes off it. It looked wicked! :thumbsup:

lol No worries. And it's more about the over-use of the word as having the same meaning as like "lame" or "stupid". But again, I'm not too bothered by it, just thought it would be nice to point out and play my small part in trying to make places like this forum a little friendlier. :biggrin:

Onto the original topic, I definitely think you should go for the blue tint :thumbup:

a friend of mine in NJ has some orange chrome flames on the windows and back glass, and then some near black non chrome over it.

yes you can see where he overlaid them but it still looks pretty sick....but it's illegal as all in NJ and he gets tickets all the time. he strips it and goes in for the ticket removal and then later that day puts it back on.
