Both are good games with good graphics and good game play.:burnrubber:

400 cars in Forza 3 and over 800 cars in GT5. I will probably buy both though. I prefer GT series. Forza has one Yaris whereas GT5 has a few. From the hatch, sedan to the race versions.

Yeah but in Forza you can swap engines.

dont turn this into a fanboy topic lol....

I perfer Forza 3 because I'm nto spending another $200+ on a gaming machine to play a better racing game. What I have is fine and works...

that's the thing, i couldn't say gran turismo is a better game...the surplus of cars doesn't make up for the lack of awesome tuning...in addition to the fact that they borked their user base by releasing a half ass version of the game with the ps3 and have yet to release the full version...xbox users have been enjoying modding and intricate decal creation tools in forza for 2 releases already, with the third coming now...

you do make a good point about spending money on a system that hardly has any first party titles worth buying tho...

I was, and still am a HUGE fan of GT3... THO, I didn't like the changes to the game play they made in GT4.... only played 4 a few times and that was enough. If I had a PS3, i'd buy 5 in a heartbeat, if I had the xbox, i'd buy the froza (its xbox right?).... for now.. i only have a ps2, and will continue to pimp my 700hp rx7's & 260hp vitz.

SPeaking of which, last night I won a rally race with the vitz over a Peugeot 206 rally car.

Whats sad about that is, I bought a Wii on debut date....and it just sits there :laugh:

In GT5 you don't have to swap engines, just build the hell out of the original :thumbup:

Plus the PS3's simpler game controls make playing more fun in general. I could never get a handle on all the buttons and triggers on any Xbox

Have you played Forza? You can build the crap out of the engines in Forza too. You also have the option to install other engines and build them up if you seek more power. I always installed rotaries in my miatas.

When is GT5 coming out? Is it official or just more speculations and delays?

The thing i dont like about forza 3 is that all the cars are unlocked from the get-go.... i want to unlock them myself...like in forza 2.

Yeah I played Forza, but I'm not that impressed. I'm also not crazy about engine swaps. IMO it's not as challenging as building up a stock block in GT5.

GT5 delays happen because PD likes to be as thorough as possible in the development. There's a reason why the realistic graphics, sound, and physics are so superior at final release :smile:
