View Full Version : 2009 Back Road Romp?

Having explored some of the amazing roads in western NH and VT on my motorcycle, I decided I'd like to take an entire day and drive as many awesome back roads as I can in the Yaris. This drive will not be quick, it will take the entire day. I don't have a route planned, but we could probably meet in northeast MA, then head up 93 into NH/VT/etc.

I'll start mapping out a route soon. I'd like to do this drive in a few weeks.

Who wants to come along? Again, it's going to be a LONG day, and the pace will likely be "spirited"

Lots of fun roads, including a couple I haven't been on yet. Ending at my favorite local brewery (Harpoon) in Windsor.

The current plan is to start the drive next Saturday, late morning. If anyone wants to go at all, let me know. I'm driving one way or another.

We've got something going on every weekend this Fall, otherwise I would have definitely been up for this.

As of now, yes. Unless it snows a lot up there I'll be going.

I added the route I want to take. Bear in mind it's STARTING in NH, about 1.5h from Boston.

This coming weekend. I'm going to drive up to Sunapee NH on Friday and start the drive Saturday morning/early afternoon.

i wish i saw this before i could have met up at somepoint in the route to say hi to everyone :)

i think schleppy is coming to my house to check out some racing seats i'm selling on sunday

The weather was horrible up there today. I ended up not driving to VT at all, and came home. Bah.
