G2 has gotten decent reviews in the past for their caliper paint, it's also available in pink.

Here you go! (http://www.g2usa.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=g2usa&Product_Code=G2)

VHT makes an engine enamel in hot pink for about $7 a can. I noticed it a while ago in a local autoparts store.

Just be sure you prime your calipers, or it might not adhere well.

Will that be able to withstand the heat over time?

I read of people painting their calipers, and it turning all sorts of colors...

How hard do you work your brakes? If you don't track it or do a lot of autox, then I think the rustoleum should be ok. What's the temp rating on it?

DandiDani

i dont do anything like that. just to work and back and errands. car show here and there. im not sure bout the temp rating tho:iono:...will have to look into that.

everything i find is HOT pink. :frown:i want like a bubblegum pink.

If you get the brush on kind of high temp paint, then you could mix hot pink and white to get the shade you want.

The G2 kit is expensive because it has everything you need to do a great job that will last forever. That includes cleaner, applicator, etc. I have it on my front calipers and it has held up to "substantial abuse".

When you figure that in it's not that bad. This is a part of the car that gets very hot.

someday i'll find some rims that i like and i'll paint the calipers. it def looks sweet when the car is moving :)

i'm holding out for some cheap light 16" rims or even 15's the 17's i had were far to heavy and the ride was horrible

i love the way my husbands looks. his is painted red. he just got a spray can kind from like auto zone or something. too bad they dont make bubblegum color in the can, lol. imma just have to buy that g2 kit and i may have to mix some white in with it to get the light pink color i want. can i use that same paint to paint the valve cover, and center console?

TinyGiant

you probably could.

I think its a brush on though ... so you might not want to use it on the center console.

i would say bring the color to your local parts store and get them to make up a spray paint can for you :)
