Did you buy the complete OEM kit, or one of the ebay kits?

I don't think you can actually buy it as a kit, but you could purchase all of the OEM parts needed.

Too many to dig through the EPC to list. The list includes the push button switch, solenoid for the steering lock, ECU and receiver for the smart card, etc.
All of which would have to be imported from another market.

How about this
Chrome gear knob, enhanced with engine starter button. Once installed you simply turn your key to on position and press the starter button on the gear knob to fire up your engine.
Universal fit, supplied with all wiring and relay box required for installation on a 12 volt negative earth vehicle. Also includes a range of adaptors to suit most gear shift shafts.

We need some more information to help you.
Did you buy just the button, or is it a kit that also includes one or more relays?
Did you receive any documentation with the button?

actually, I have only the button, no documentation.
I wanna make a general idea about what I will find under the cover and the wiring before I open it!

OK. If it is just the button and you don't want to open the package yet, can you tell how many wires come out of the switch?
If the switch is just a momentary switch, then you could just hook it up between the gray wire in pin 5 and the black wire in pin 7 of the keyswitch connector. The only problem would be if you accidentally hit the switch once it was running, you would grind the starter.

OK, I don't know if this helps, but anyway... I found this cool site where they have a lot of DIY's, and one of those tells you how to install the ingnition button step by step, with pics and everithing.

Hope it is of some use...
*NOTE: You still have to use your keys to start your car.

That link is really not directly applicable. Can you snap a picture of the back of the switch with the wires and of any documentation that came with it?

Why do I need a kit? Shouldn't I be able to just do it with a momentary push button and some wire?

What's the point if you still have to put the key in and turn it?

Maybe you do, but for me its just part of a custom bluetooth proximity starter.
