Well the Managing Director of XXR came up to me at the Revoluscion show we had in Los Angeles a month ago and wanted to take pics of my car for a new wheel coming out next year.And for doing this they hooked me up with a new set of rims I just gotta get tires. So anyhow here are some of the pics from this last Sunday in Santa Ana I thought would be nice to share.

cali people need all the free stuff they can get....we're the poorest state w/ budget problems than the rest of you guys LOL...

nice rims...whats the size on them? 16s?

Those are "18's in the pics but the rims I got from them are "17's 502 series in black chrome

Not to mention the toughest smog restrictions in the nation :wink:

And lately, there has been some drama with quite a few smog check stations in the Bay Area that were faking smog certificates (as in the results of a 2004 Honda Accord for a 1984 Ford F150.

And there were also a few street-racing-related deaths lately, so I guess the cops will be watching for modified cars... :cry:

So I guess Cali is not the promised land either :brokenheart: You can't have your cookie and eat it too :smile:

I passed a motorcycle cop w/ radar gun...looked at my car and went back to business...

Our cars are okay w/ the cops...so long as we don't become the Civic image and noise...

Drama w/ smog check? Hmm...im not taking my intake out, thats for sure ;P

i think even garms car would physically pass smog, although not visually lol

my mr2 running standalone and 800cc injectors passes smog (with the cat of course)

That's a pretty cool free deal you got there. So looks like they had some portable flash kits setup for a photoshoot, got any photos from that shoot? Im guessing the ones you posted are the ones you took.

No I wish I did get a set of photo's that they took but they are keeping them for next years catelog.

Here is the actual rim that I wanted from them, its black chorme. I already have the black and red style on my other car so wanted to be a little different.

Damn thats the exact rim type i plan to get when i purchase a set. I like the look of black chrome. Its like a darker shade of gunmetal.

^probably "Visual Garage". (Google) Commonly known as the "shark fin" antenna. They sell it color-matched to your car so you don't have to paint. If not, then probably eBay. You can do a search here, too. :)

Yup it sure is a Visual Garage shark fin off Ebay. Its not bad at all the reception is decent and a nice paint job to boot.

Yeah but there is nothing else to look forward to after 25. All you get when you turn 25 is a lower rate on your car insurance.

Sweet, it doesn't impact the radio reception negatively does it? As compared to the stock antenna.

It dosen't have an equaly stong range but its still pretty good.
