Gotta love the Ring.
Thought this was great, spend all weekend driving, only to ruin it in less than 10 seconds. Not even past turn 1

There are a lot of videos of crashes at Nurburgring. There are a lot of turns that are down hill and they don't realize that you lose traction, then control. But that idiot in the rain was just that an idiot.:bellyroll:

"Ready?" :bellyroll:
I completed the Ring in 8:02 in a '67 Ferrari once.
The game was Gran Prix Legends.
Before I die I want 7:59!!!!!!!!!
7'35 in an Enzo
Wow! alien
I see you quoted my post while I was off checking the year. lol 1969 just didn't feel right but it's been awhile.
Pk I didn't want to polute your Ring thread with this  but I didn't realize you were referring to your best time in a racing game.
If you're ever in the mood for more of a racing simulation try GPL. It's the 1967 F1 circuit on the pc - 11 tracks including The Ring, Spa, Watkins Glen, Mosport, Spa. Insanely powered cars with very bad handling and yet when you start to get the hang of it it's very rewarding.

Not that I have anything against racing games - I still fire up Midtown Madness 1 once in a while. In fact it's been at least 3 years since I last tried GPL - I know the relearning curve would be a bugger.

Haww! Proving that having the car and knowing how to drive it are two completely different things. Wet roads under acceleration is an art form, and that clown had no clue.
