Came on (solid glow, not blinks) at exactly 54500. I assume this is just a reminder for regular maintenance or should I take it in to have it looked at? It's running fine, but I'm due for an oil change.

It starts coming on briefly at startup 4500 miles after it was last reset, and stays on at 5000 miles. It's just a mileage marker reminding you to do the oil change and tire rotation.

if you put the trip to trip A and then turn the car off and then turn the car on while holding the trip button it will turn off the light :)

I found out it's resettable for distance too. If you use synth or want to change it for some other reason -- I'll look up how to do it again.

Glad I read this. Kind of worried when the light came on when it seems like just yesterday when I took it in for an oil change. Mine came on today (or I just noticed it today) and it stays solid orange. The last couple of days I had noticed it coming on briefly after starting the car. My last oil change was at 8335 miles and I'm now at 13010 miles.

I do my oil changes at 3500, so I'm always out of sync with the light. I figured out last night how to get the cluster to tell me over CAN how many miles are left until it needs to be reset (or for those that follow the recommended interval, how many miles until it's due).

Haha. Cool. Another feature to add to the "YarGauge"?

Lol, that thing is never going to be released w/ all the new features that keep being added to it!

So true. I need to stop exploring...
