Enable Daytime running light

I just bought a Yaris 4-D4 2006 from Germany without DRL. Is there any way to enable DRL on this car?

check for the wiring under the steering wheel, where the tilt lever is. if the plug is there it's as simple as having someone ship you a box they're not using cuz they installed HID and you'll b on your way.

if it's for insurance purposes, all you gotta do is tell them you installed the box. they'll never check.

Looking at the European EWDs, it looks like DRLs are an optional thing on European Yaris. The wiring between the DRL module and the headlight switch is significantly different for one with versus one without, so I don't believe that you'll find a connector hanging there.

I did a DIY for having the headlights turn off with the key. This may be an easier method, as you can simply leave the headlights on all the time, and they just shut off automatically with the ignition.
