View Full Version : wheel gap
Went to one auto shop to do oil change for me, they use the jack to lift up the car from the left side, I notice the rear wheel gap from the left side is a bit larger than the right side even after few days of driving.
Could this be the sign of the shock start to wear out?
not sure, but that is one HOT yaris!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry i couldn't help.

this happens with my 300zx's when they get lifted up on jacks.... try to bounce the car up and down with the hand brake off to loosen up the shocks....if that doesnt help take it back to the place that broked it :p

shocks/struts don't affect the ride height, springs do. Its possible that unweighting the spring would allow it to uncompress a little and will probably settle back to normal. Kinda like when you get new springs and they settle too. just a thought.
Thanks all, what I did now was putting some heavy stuff at the back to force it down.
Hope it will go back to normal, actually it is not far off just a little bit.
