Hmm not sure about 02 but i know all the newer yaris do not have a power steering resivoire because they do not have a power steering pump they have electrict power assist.

Hence could be why you cant locate the resivoire

Do you know the engine family? toyodiy.com shows the power steering reservoir is on the pump and it should be along the belt for the 1NDTV, 1NZFE, 2NZFE.

The 1SZFE, and 2SZFE don't have pumps

Thanks. Engine is 1SZFE. My steering wheel looks heavy on turning. Also it doesn't come to original position once I complete the turn.
What could be the problem.

That could be a few things but likely not the PS. You might have hit a curb and gotten the alignment out of wack. Or your tire pressure might be off in one wheel. (easy to check) Or you might have a dammaged/bulging/belt squirmed tire. Have you hit anything lately? Check for bent rims in front.

Sounds like the rack and pinion is going out
