One suggestion we might try is taking the cruise in reverse. It seemed last time it was more like 75 percent uphill climb and last 25 percent was downhill. Would be nice to do 75 percent downhill.

going in reverse, in my opinion was a lot more scarier...i dont know, ask ezhacker1 or advocate....seems like hugging the mountain felt safer at night than having just the cliff to hug....

If i put on my stock tires (which have more tread than my 17s) then I will probably be down~~

^ lol, the time difference between first and second run was 3 minutes, ~22 for the first run, and ~25 for kioshi advocate and me. I think Kioshi was taking it slow cuz we were hugging the cliff. If you watch the video, you see Advocate not taking it that close, i was taking it closer, but it was easy because i saw the line he was taking so just had to adjust.

i saw the video today in class (no internet at home still)...and i can't believe i went that slow....the reverse run had more downs BUT going up before the down coast was bad at night....i didnt know which way the road turned till i went down.....

i started taking the both lanes taking the turn....after one sharp turn i made.
I liked the video man, good job. now that we know the turns, somewhat, I'm down to take it up a notch ;)

it was fun, our average speed was 25 mph on a 10-15 mph zone..

Haha, I didn't run yo!

I just posted a date and was going to check up on again when the date gets closer. Cruise is open to anyone, and I think we'll be changing things up, I think someone wanted to go during the day?

I'll keep updating this week in regards of what may happen.

I'm just not sure if we should do day or night, but most people are working still during the day.

Yeah if its during friday most people are working during the day. Id try to see if we can set the meeting time at 8:30 cause people usually come late anyways. Id try to look for a place that has seating for large partys if there is going to be more than 10 again.

last time, it took me more than 3 hours :eek::eek: to get there because 680 was a !$!@# parking lot all the way to Union City :rolleyes: so I won't do it if I come straight from work again, but I will if I have the day off.

As for a Sac meet, it's probably going to be more a meet and eat instead of a meet and cruise. The best cruising spot (from what I hear) is Salmon Falls, but that's waaaay out from the Bay. I believe I posted it some time ago. We can meet in Natomas, grab a bite, and a possible movie.

Well, My Yaris had a pretty serious rear brake problem, and is currently out of commission for now, so I vote for as late as possible, hopefully it'll be fixed in at least 2 weeks (waiting for parts:barf:) :wink: Other than that, I can do it on any friday night, saturday all day, sunday all day

My filter sits "right next to the left foglight cover + fender line hugging it" (Fujita CAI, unlike the AEM, Injen, etc....I bought hydrashield from Injen to put over the filter...repels water due to microfiber sized holes on the cover, but I still try to keep my rpms below 2000 every shift...It's a bitch to remove and put the intake back on (I think) so yea.....

I think everyone should post 2 hours ahead on here if they are coming or not.

While we. Were all just talking at the gas station some old piece of crap truck I guess tried showing off since he seen us. So he hit the gas at the light and spun his tires turning the corner then into the gas station, only bad thing besides how ugly and piece of crap his truck was, was that there was a cop sitting right behind him when he dis all this. The cop followed him into the gas station and flashed his lights bam cop said " STAY IN THE VEHICLE" lol ended up taking him out hand cuffing the guy and serching him then he gave him some DUI checks, then finally like 15 mins later the back up showed up and started searching the car and this time we thought it was time to roll because of a certain unspoken of mod to a certain persons car. So what happened after that I don't know.

Then he gets up to a light and slows down almost to a stop then peels out and runs a red light and burns rubber right into the shell station...

no kidding.. i almost lost it a few times on my 205 tires compared to stock 185. REAR SWAY BAR I NEED. Advocate (sean) is the insane one, hard to keep up with him with his awesome seat and tokico blues.

Well becoming good is pushing yourself to the limit and then exceeding it just slightly every time until your comfortable. Although this run i didnt push myself that hard cause whenever im on wet pavement its hard to judge when the tires will start to break loose. Especially wet pavement with loose gravel and dirt lol

Kioshi, i wish i was behind you then, get it on camera. O and my almost lost it part was going 2nd time down hill sharp turn would have ran off the cliff, i couldnt make the turn and went into the opposing lane, pretty much blind turn at that speed, thank goodness no car there.

I practice A LOT on the cliff-y drive up to mount tam (when we have a meet here in MV again, we will have to take that cruise!), but yes i do need new wheels, tires, tie bar, tokiko blues, chassis stiffening, front strut tower tie. too bad i blew most of my money on the rear discs hahaha :biggrin: I think advocate's car has to be the fastest B.A Yaris though, with his obsessive lightening and sticky tires LOLOL
