Has anyone installed this kit and are there any tricks etc to watch out for?

Easy for me. The hardest part was mounting the little black control unit. For some reason my Yaris was very different dash-wise from the model depicted in the instructions I found. (The instructions tell you to zip tie it to a particular metal bar, which was inaccessible on my car.) I mounted mine right below the trim piece surrounding the dash. Also, my Yaris' dash trim was not designed the same way as the one in the instructions, which made it hard not to break some plastic tabs.

The solution is to take your time and be careful when removing the trim around your dash. You should be alright though since you are in the US and the instructions available on the net and from dealerships are for US model Yarii.

Otherwise, fairly straight forward. Will take about an hour, possibly longer, depending on your confidence level.

Working great so far with a Palm Treo Pro and iPod touch, the ipod is a bit tinny from time to time though.

which style Yaris was this installed into, and with factory head-unit?
any pictures? this is the toyota aftermarket blue-tooth hands free right?
