help help help big problem no brake lights

hi all i just got a set of jdm RS lights and i did the diy but am having problems and i ned to know what color wire from the Australian yaris to the jap rs lights ... i cant fined anything :( its 11:30 and i need to go to work at 7 :( cany anybody help me :frown::frown::frown::iono::iono::iono::confused:: confused::confused:

If you installed some sort of aftermarket kit remove it and you lights should work again.

Are they the ones with the LED stop lights?

If so:

Right side:
Orange - Stop
Grey - Tail
Yellow - Turn Signal
White w/black - Ground

Left Side:
Violet - Stop
Green - Tail
Light Green - Turn Signal
White w/black - Ground

ok thanks guys it seams that there may be a fuse blown as i have been fiddlying with it and on my way to work everytime i had to slow down i had to flick my lights on so i am searching for the brake light fuse ???

sometimes if you have to cut the wires and re-connect them they dont make good contact, try to rewire that particular set of wires....especially if all the others are working fine......

or try the fuse....dont see why a fuse would have blown if your battery was off? :(

The only wreck I've had in 25 years was in rush hour and the clown in front of me had no brake lights. IT DOES MAKE A DIFF.

He was driving a pickup truck with trailer hitch and a dangling connector. Apparently it wasn't wired right. After that I notice about 60% of trucks with trailer hitches and dangling connectors didn't have brake lights. Lots of incompetent electrical guys about.

all good guys it was a blown fuse... what i did was pulled the lights plug apart and coved the needle side in heat shrink and pluged in the light so i didn't have to brake my car plug ... any way to pins were touching and had blown the fuse son the brake lights had gorn out all is good now though thanks to CTScott, 1NZYaris1 & YAR1S onya guys thankyou very much and good story woof
