anyone know of or use a good laptop recovery program (in case of theft)?

I'm looking @ adeona, Prey and some beta google thing.
please don't say lojack.

Use Truecrypt to protect your data and Microsoft's Synctoy to make sure you're synced with your desktop computer and use a cheap enough laptop that you can consider it expendable.

You might have a very good reason for wanting the impossible but let's just say I wish you well. :smile:

i'd say a kenshington lock would be the best investment to protect your laptop from thieves.

Encryption is the way to go if you are concerned with your data security when your laptop is stolen..

buy a cable lock if you don't want anyone to snatch and run with your laptop.
