I have Tanabe DF210 springs but I'm looking for something stiffer. I want better performance and I want to stop the rub on my 15 INCH RIMS (ridiculous). They only rub when I go up and down even small hills and bumps, but they don't rub when I turn. No coilovers; I don't want to spend that much money and I don't need to adjust. Any suggestions + their prices? Thanks.

spring rates are higher on these, and I have some I haven't put on yet if you want them.

If you're rubbing on DF210s with 15s then you need stiffer shocks not springs.

I run DF210s on 16s with big tires and don't rub at all.

Have you not upgraded the shocks at all?

rather than another set of springs that will still rub , due to stock absorbtion not being there .

you can always move on to this...

A bit stiffer and a bit higher than the DF series

^ Those are not available from Tanabe in this country. You'd have to find someone to send them over from Japan.

I would upgrade shocks/struts. If you want stiffer springs, go with the AOE TigerTecs, they are much stiffer than the Tanabes. You will sacrifice some ride quality, however.

i bought honda fit springs from A&J racing to use the rear springs. they are 6kg compared to the 2.2kg that comes in the tanabes.

How does the height work out with those? Will they sell just the rears?

the height was higher than the DF210's, but lower than stock. i actually just cut a half coil off to lower the rear slightly. it worked perfect, rear sits just slightly higher than the front, i love it.

i emailed skunk2 trying to get just the rears and they never messaged me back, and the T1R's are $112 or something so i just bought them

Cutting the springs? o.O

yeah, we cut a half coil. im not talkin about cutting springs like a rice burner to drop the car 3 inches, im talking a half coil, which shouldnt not effect the spring. its been done for literally decades in racing.
