Has anyone heard further about Toyota importing the iQ? I just might do something stopid like buy a Smart car or even worse try to import a diesel Smart from Canada. Toyota if you are listening and want some fast cash to help tide you over Ive got the dough for a mini car buring a hole in my pocket. :headbang:

There's a really nice orange diesel smart for sale where I am ... actually in the Toyota used car lot, LOL.

I would rather have the iQ though!

Hmm I was thru Sudbury in 2000 on my motorcycle. After buying gas I got a load of the rocks in the ground there. Weird! Something happened to distort the rocks. You could see it. Turns out you got hit eons ago by a meteor.
A 700cc turbo diesel is pretty big. But Im sure it would be a mistake!

I would think that a Mini Copper S is a much better car than the Smart. Mini is coming out with a two seat coupe.

drove a tdi smart car right before driving the yaris....the yaris felt like a ferrari in comparison. couldnt even get up to highway speeds on the onramp in a smart fortwo diesel....

that, and my NEW yaris was cheaper than a USED fortwo w/ 40000kms on it

well, cdi economy > gas economy for the smart.....but americans never had the fortwo cdi
