So I took the time to make very tight corners and use very little material when wraping it around to attach from behind. That way when isntalled it looks completely flush and has a oem look. From pics ive seen not necessarily on yarisworld the edges always look a little rough. Once installed they make it so the trim dose not sit flush.

The trick really is stretch and pull when you are isntalling it and taking scissors to make cuts on every edge bend or turn and fold back to get clean lines. I tried to use rubber gloves but they kept sticking so ended up having to use my bare hands. It was a mess getting the glue off. The second piece i did i used this product called gloves in a bottle. Puts a thin layer of protection on your hands. So you still have dexterity but makes removing the mess off your hands when your done easier.

Here you can see the lines how it fits just like OEM with all the edges clean.

I think it blends with the interior color of my car well. Dosnt look too out of place cause of the dark charcoal color scheme. Now only the silver looks out of place. Next project is to either paint it black or have it color matched flint mica by a body shop.

Looks really good. I would have the silver repainted a flat back to match the interior. I plan on doing it myself.

OOOO I just got some neffy in the mail today... how hard was it to wrap those pieces? and how did you stretch it around the corners/hold it in place?

Its not really hard. Just spray it first let it get tacky and then apply. The edges i just made 2 slits on every corner and then pulled them tight and held down with my finger till it dried. Once everything was dry i went back with a razor and trimmed off as much as possible so its not bulky around the edges when it snaps in place. Its tricky if your trying to do it wearing gloves. To get it right your going to get your hands a little sticky.

I used this stuff on my hands first....

That way you dont have to wear gloves and then the sticky residue just washes right off when your done. Its like a invisible pair of really thin gloves.

That looks clean! No bubbles/bumps or anything. If i ever decide to have the carbon fiber look, I'm hitting you up for service.

Really nice edges...

Nice. Can I send you my trim pieces and have you wrap them for me?

I guess I want to know how hard it is to remove if you mess up a section.

Was bored and made a carbon fiber license plate frame. I am going to put a few layers of clear coat on it in the morning and see how it turns out..

Yeah lol thats where i got the idea. I figured since i had some leftover i can make my own for free. I sprayed it down with about 10 coats of clearcoat. Going to polish it up tomorrow with rubbing compound and see how it looks .

Very nice take on wrapping...kind of the reverse since many peeps are wrapping the actual console...
