Hi,
I bought my 2007 Toyota Yaris sedan this January and sometimes it has this weird subtle clicking noise almost like a small rumble. It's not there all the time. I suspect that it goes off when I'm low on gas, but I'm not sure. Do cars make noise when they're low on gas? I know nothing about cars.

There is no "clicking" sound that is supposed to be there. All alarms on the yaris are chimes, I'm pretty sure.

That's my first guess, 2nd guess is something loose or broken on the air intake.

You need to be more specific. Is it coming from the engine, suspension, body rattle, at idle, on acceleration, while stepping on the brakes, etc... If you keep your tank filled, you might avoid the clicking
Don't know if this is the same. I had clicking noise from front of car when backing into a parking spot and turning the wheel. Toyota found the mounting bolts were loose between the top of the front strut housing and the cover over the wiper motor.

did you put trim rings on wheels
Sounds like CV joints. They click when they first start to go bad.
