I just recently got the belt changed and my car is still squealing really bad. Does anyone know what else could be the problem? it's a 2007

The belt might need to be re-tightened, or it could be wet due to condensation in the mornings, or it might not be gripping to the pulley correctly; in the later, my father used to rub a chunk of bee's wax on the belt's contact surface (the "V" shaped side) and it would stop it for some time.

Water pump or alternator bearing?

When you put on a brand new belt the rubber is new. It will stretch slightly over the new few days. If it was installed slightly loose to begin with that would explain the squeeling now. Have it taken back and retightend.

Agreed....they probably put it on too loose and really...no excuse for that and an inconvenince for you.

Mine just started squeeking along with a kind of a chirping noise only when you first start the car in the morning mostly when you put on the defroster. It goes away after a few minutes and all is fine. Is this the start of something going bad. I have not had any service done on the belts yet, I have 34K miles on the car. Any suggestions?

Could just be a loose or worn belt. Especially if only in the morning and then goes away.

i didnt change my original until 170K. it was squealing and now there is a bearing squeal that is impossible to pin down because they crammed alternator, tensioner, and water pump right on top of each other.
how the hell can you tell what it is.

Holy cow! The Yaris doesn't have an automatic tensioner???
I find that very surprising.. Well, I guess on the flip side of it, you don't need to pay $350 to have the automatic tensioner replaced every 5 years.

I had this problem, went back to the place and they tightened it and never squeaked again.
