so the question is what do you think????
One thing I always thought was slick in the racing world was turning the gauges so "normal" had the needle pointing straight up. You can't do that here, but...
What you've done looks very nice, but my personality would lean me towards putting the tick marks at the common speed limits. Namely, 25, 35, 45, 55, 65 and 70. (I probably wouldn't label "70" though.) Then maybe put minor tick marks at the other major increments. The idea is, for me, I only look at the speedometer to see if I'm speeding. Most speed limits around here are "on the 5's" like I shown above.
For actual speed I use a GPS. It's more accurate anyway.
Except for the difference in personal preference, it looks very nice.

naw man, on a car that is brand new or well taken care of, the speed on the dial is the most accurate u can get and should always go by. yes once a car gets old it gets a bit off wack but it can be readjusted. i found at slower speeds my GPS is about 6-7 km/h off, and at higher speeds (about 110, 120km/h) its only about 3km/h off, never had it the same except at zero, lol
