Do not EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING ONLINE FROM AUTOZONE.COM.

I attempted to purchase a new scangauge II from them online and save a few dollars vs. other companies. Put the new item in checkout, put my Credit Card info in, and hit finish.... only to get a SQL ERROR from their page!

No confirmation email

No order #

Nothing.... except I was BILLED FOR THE ITEM :mad::mad:

Called tech support and was put on hold for 40 min's only to hang up on them due to them not getting back to me.
Worse online shopping experienceever

Called my bank and canceled the charge right away. We'll see if they are dumb enough to send me the item.... /sigh

Anyone suggest a REAL store to buy this thing from? I've given up getting it before X-Mas.

Amazon has it for $159, But occasionally they have it for one of their "Lightning Deals" - I got mine during a Lightning Deal for $139. But I obviously have no idea when they'll do that again.

i dont know about where anyone else lives but autozone is a big fail here. i hear so many stories about them sell wrong parts like plugs/wires to even oil filters. my roomie works at oreillys here so i always go there and get the good deal.

all depends upon the parts guys they hired, around here Autozone is king. Advanced and O'reileys are the ones that have the customer service issues, mostly because they are the rookies in town and mostly hired Autozone rejects. Napa is another good place to shop, but they tend to hire people with zero personality, but they get you the right parts.

MicroImage is a reputable vender here. Amazon.com is also good like frbl said.

I bought an impossible-to-find serpentine belt from Autozone. No problems.
