i've been really searching up on Cat-backs for yaris.... but i can find non....

and i know why now... i figured that the catalytic converter and the mid pipe is in one piece.... so that's why we only get axle-back.....:frown:

and i had searched up on xA and xB catbacks they all require chopping the mid-pipe.... that really makes it gay.... if u want to put it back to stock.....

i have couple PDFs....to prove this check it out..............

BIG SIGH to whoever looking for catbacks................. :frown: which including me >_<

Isn't the Canadian exhaust upgrade (Borla) a cat-back exhaust system?
I remember speaking to a parts rep and he sad it was a cat-back system.
Maybe he's mistaken?

riceboy, can you comment?

this is the mid pipe, behind the cat is the resinator and stuff in one piece.... there's no way for bolt on cat-back exhaust:frown:

Crap, I just noticed that too.

So the Borla exhaust is NOT bolt on cat-back I presume?

might not someone make a full exhaust piping replacement with high-flow catalysers at some point in the future?

if the mid pipe comes with highflow cat will be awsome ^_____^

but i guess the full catback will be looking at $1000+

every one I've seen so far for the USDM MY07 Liftback is an axle back.

Don't forget there is that service bulletin... if you're under warranty and you go to a dealer and complain about a sulfur odor outside of your car, they will replace your midpipe with a higher-flowing version. Not exactly my idea of a performance gain, but now you know...

go to meineke and make them bend you one from scratch should cost less minimal and they can make it 2.25"

best exhaust you would be able to make would just be a straight pipe all the way back eliminating the cat...i am not aware of any companies in japan that are even doing this but i can look further into it. i have not seen any mid pipe options though, it'll probably have to come domestically since japan is pretty eco friendly when it comes to exhausts.

do not take the cat off on this car if its NA, I did it on my scion xB and the car ran like shit* even with the check engine light not on
buy a high flow cat from summit racing and it will do the trick
they range from $45-$160 depending on the quality you want

Are you sure a mid pipe from an XB will fit a Yaris sedan/HB
