How do I hook up an iPod to the OEM stereo?

I just got an 8 gig iPod given to me. I would like to hook it up to the stereo that came with the car, I note there is a plug in the lower right of the face of the stereo (CD player/AM/FM unit, base model), I don't even know what thats for but am hoping that is an input for the iPod!!!!

If not.... what can I do, other than buy the over priced upgrade unit from Toyota?

most likely that is what it is for.

the US models have the plug to the right of the drivers seat, by the emergency brake.

Yup..... I checked it out and its an accessory plug. A quick trip to Futureshop and bought a cord ($14.9 what a rip off) and its working.... thanks

$5 at Wal-Mart.. I just bought one myself..
