I normally wouldn't make a thread just about a couple of pieces of cable but good lord...
For 5 meters of RCA's & 7 Feet of speaker cable it was about $57 shipped which some may consider to be high but look at this stuff...

I almost don't want to even install it...just frame it. I'm still waiting on my line driver then I'll do it all.

I see the biggest speaker wire they have is 12Gauge and much of their stuff is for home audio which if thats what you're looking for then that place is great.

The jacketing is easily obtainable from techflex...
I really appreciate the booting and techflexing of the RCA. I'll be doing something similar with some techflex Ogre (maybe Patriot or Shimmer), booting, heatshrink, and Neutrik Pro Fi plugs from parts express. The wire itself is the nice Canare Star Quad type...Oh so much fun!
That's the nice thing about making one's own RCAs, you're not limited by someone else's imagination. It's all you!
I love the huge protection on the speaker wire! I'd like to see that for myself to gauge the wire...
Have fun with those! I'm looking forward to seeing the system!

I only used Knu wires on my Scion tC and total cost for all wires was nearly $200 shipped but honestly the wires will last me forever,I can reuse on car after car, good quality products......not looking forward to the Yaris stereo install.....altough it will be much simplier it is still soooo much work.

I just ordered me some of that same speaker cable in 10ga (its tasty) for the internal box wiring between subs, going to be redoing the whole deck and frame in the yaris so I figured why not since everything's out there.

Here's pics of the 10ga twisted Knu speaker wire and the TLD22 Line driver, neither of it is much good until my deck renovation is complete and I can put the subs back in but oh well.
The pics are rather large I know but it's for your pleasure.
The PG TLD22 has a really well built and sturdy feel. The instructions say I can adjust the gains for each channel from +0-+30db, lol oh man. Good thing my amp accepts 9v level input.

i'm all for going overkill on speaker wire... but feel I need to make sure you know the facts...
THATS WAY OVERKILL!
since the AC signal coming out of the amps are High voltage & extremely low amperage and the wire length on subs is usually less than 6 feet from amp to sub terminals you really don't need anything more than 18awg.... even if you are running 2,000rms over that speaker wire.
Bigger is always better for resistance, but going with fat speaker wire is a waste unless you need more bulk/strength cause you're afraid it'll break easily due to movement (like if its installed in a door that opens & closes often).
with that said... I once hooked up a pair of 15's in a wall with 8awg power cable in place of real speaker wire... at the time, nobody on the net sold 8awg speaker wire... since then i've found a few places that do. The 8awg was more for looks/intimidation than anything else. We ran 4awg from the amp to a lil distroblock and four 8awg runs out of each d-block... the 15's were DVC so we needed 4 pos & 4 neg wires.

yea I pretty aware that my wiring is pretty hilariously large, every cable in my car could stand to be 2-4 notches smaller but its cheap enough and looks cool in my opinion so I went for it.

I'm all for making things look pretty. That's my downfall, but I don't mind throwing around a few extra $ to make it look as nice as it sounds. :)

yea some people are fine with 5 volts....ehhhhhh i say give interference a run for its money.
i figure ill just velcro it to the inside vertically somewhere, we'll see where it fits.
