So, I've had this grinding sound coming from what appeared to be the alternator. I asked several people and they all believed it was a bearing gone bad on the alt. So my dad and I replaced it tonight and unfortunately that was not the case. I'll have to just get it into a professional as soon as I can, but has anyone here had an issue like this before? I'm not very car inclined, so what else is there that could be causing it?
