hi i have a yaris t-spirit 2009 1.33 and its with factory oem alloys, the car is lowered with tte springs. my brother ordered one exactly like min except he got 16" pitlane (motosport).

how come his have a better ride than mine?

could some one tell me whats the width of the 17" alloy of the sr 1.8ltr? thanks a lot

1. is his lowered also, in the same way?

2. What tires are being used on both cars? brand, width/height

3. Is his also a T-sport?

The TTE Pitlanes could be lighter than your factory alloys, even though they are larger...They are most likely wider as well...

Cheers

hey so if the alloys are lighter it will have a better ride ? i really need help on this thanks all

do you mean nicer as in smoother ride?
the wider tires could help absorb bumps and smooth out the ride, including adding the benefit of better handling.
also, should your tires be at 27psi? is this an attempt at softening things up?

yes what i mean is smoother ride, the 27psi is how the yaris came from factory, now normally here in Malta we do them 30psi but considering that the road surface is not that smooth i like to so them even 25psi but as the yaris came with 27 psi i left them like that.

its really funny cause the bigger the rim the rougher is the ride cause you'll have less tire for the car to bounce on, but believe me between these twp yarises its working the other way round!

Could it be my tire compound is harder?

Likely more to do with differences in sidewall stiffness between brands.
