Hi everyone just stumbled on this site. What are you guys here for the liftback/hatchback or the sedan? I think both look real nice. Personally I'm looking into the liftback versio I tink that it will be a cool little fun car.

so far, we only have the liftback version here in australia (albeit in 3- or 5-door variants). we bought the 5-door liftback and all I can say is pretty marvelous and we are quite happy with our purchase.

I'm a U.S. guy who has plans to purchase the liftback. I plan to do a full suspension build with a stripped chassis. Soon after, I plan to go the TRD or Blitz route to supercharge the motor. This car will probably only see track time as a designated track car.

Have you seen the videos in the video section? This car looks like a fun little car to speed around the track with. Can't wait to see the things you do with your car  I have a feeling most enthusiasts here will be fans of the liftback.

It's undecided as to whether or not I'll even get a Yaris, but I think the liftback is the best choice, if just because it's more of a real city car than the sedan (I'd rather get a Corolla if I had to look at entry-level Toyota sedans). It looks faster, too. :)

Of course, it helps that here in Canuckistan we get the 5-door liftback option as well - so you can get your rear doors without getting a bigger car.

yeah in the video you are talking about its like the car has no body roll at all, the horizon line of the track is a smooth line as it goes around corners.

I think the red car is a tommy kaira zz-s (not sure)

I was to busy watching the vitz keep up on the corners to worry about straight aways

I am with you! Liftback, pocketrocket! With gas prices staying at these levels, a small car like this is much more appealing!

It more faster :). The Yaris liftback (basic model, manual stick) only weight 2,299 pounds (I have one). The sedan version, equipped with the same engine, it should be more heavy

We also have to be aware of the fact that the sedan has to face a lot more competitions in the market, including Toyota's own Corolla. On the other hand, the liftback has fewer competitions. There are not many liftback cars around for choosing.
