Anyone out there in New England??

Just wondering if anyone is still out there in New England with the lack of posts since mid December of last year. lol :laugh: Bit nippy up here in New Hampshire lately. My 2007 just rolled over 70000 and running like a charm except for the abs,brake lite scare a couple of days ago. Went out after a couple of minutes so I'm thinking that I'm starting to have the same problem that our canadaian counterparts are having with the sensors and wiring harness corrision at the wheels. Hope she decides to give up the ghost while still under my 100000 mile warranty.

With all the snow and crap on the ground, it's likely that your ABS sensor got some snow/ice pack on it, and that threw it off. It happens.

Glad to see we still have a few bodies out there in New England. Had a talk with my dealers service manager today and they've ordered the parts for the wheel speed sensors and wire harness for the abs light coming on. I have 71000 on here and thankful I purchased the extended warranty. The dealer is going to eat the 100 dollar deductable because of the case I made. Just got a call back and just like I told him the parts are way back ordered, he didn't believe me, so when they come in its off to the dealer to be repaired. When I called toyota and asked them for a recall they basicly hung up on me after saying talk to the dealer. The TBS was released in june of 08 and should have been completed on all cars with abs in the NE and Canada, at least that was my case to the dealer. Now its just wait and see.

Well, the dealer finally got my parts in after almost a 2 and half month back order. Got the girl in yesterday and the parts were installed for the ABS. Now I can only hope that does the trick. NE meet sounds good. Lets try and get this one together.
