well Gran Tourismo 5 comes out in like march I think... it'll have like 5 versions of the yaris/vitz I believe... So... I vote for that once it comes out.

Two of my co-workers say little big planet it a lot of fun.

LITTLE BIG PLANET

also i loved Mirrors Edge but it is quite frankly the most frustrating game ever made. still i loved the challenge. very short though, much like Heavenly Sword.

MGS4 was kind of a let down in my opinion. i haven't even finished it. maybe it was the story. as crazy as the storyline usually is in MGS this one was just a little too WAY out there and i lost interest.

and if you like racing you could try Grid until GT5 comes out. i think it's a good balance between enjoyable arcade racing and driving sim.

and another game i was seriously addicted to, like in a bad way, was Warhawk. it's a little dated now so i'm not sure how much fun it would be these days. it is solely an online based game and i haven't been on in a while but i suppose there are still a whole bunch people playing. i guess.

then go buy a wii so you can play the new super mario bros wii game for hours and hours and hours and hours and....

I'll second that...Modern Warfare 2 is IMO the most addicting multi-player game available for the ps3(at least that's all I've played, haven't touched the single player campaign mode)

do you like RPG's? fallout3 and expansions, oblivion, sacred 2, dragon age origins,

Batman Arkham Asilyum, Uncharted 2, Infamous, (i would shy away from Prototype hyper repetitive)

Any of the Lego series games (Batman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones 1 & 2). There's also Lego Rockband.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the only game I have until Gran Turismo 5 comes out. I had to stop playing because I was staying up way too late playing the game.

infamous is a little repetitive, but still fun. not too hard to platinum if you get into trophy hunting.

wouldn't know about the 5.1 setup but i'd definitely second that. motorstorm 1 and 2. online play is pretty intense at times.

You have played through several single player action/adventure titles so it seems like that's a good genre for u. So do yourself a favor and pick up assassins creed 2. Simply fantastic in every way.

well if you think about it, ALL GAMES are repetitive. It just mattes how much, and in what way. Rental stores are your best friends, or Gamefly.com

+1 on the Gamefly.com. We've tried out a good number of games this way. Games that were touted to be excellent, we found to be horrible. Thank goodness for not actually paying for it!

Just bought GOTY Fallout 3, should be here in a couple of days. Almost finished w/ Dragon Age Origins, for the 3rd time.

Plan on ordering Two Worlds II, Star Ocean & best for last, Heavy Rain.

Didn't like Sacred 2; had kind of a cheap look to me.

go with AC2, I heard RE5 is kinds short, and not up to the hype. I played a bit of AC2 and had fun.
