That's rough!
I doubt the guy wanted to intentionally hurt the Yaris.....:iono:

psh.... Im hoping he was joking and that was a car like crashy.... no other purpose then to chnage it into some sort of off road vehicle?? major FAIL tho for not raising it up.

Well with him not having rental coverage, he should be 100% liable for the damages, or at least his insurance company will pay for it, and so will he.

I literally laughed the whole time reading. How funny this must have been for these guys on their expedition to have a Yaris stroll through randomly. I love this...

Kinda off thread but I got to ride my mountain bike in Moab. One of the highlights of my life. Isn't there a Mecca where all Yaris owners want to drive their cars?
Greensboro or something?

He would have to be a complete fucknut to post pics of a rental showing the license plate (CO 440 TLW) as someone could easily run the tag and determine that the damage was intentional.
However, I agree with YAR1S in that is was probably someone's personal car. However, the guy in the pic doesn't look too bright...

I just like seeing the video of off-road yaris action(or lack of action) but still makes me want to rally the yaris.

haa yeah of course... Greensboro is yaris mecca... you must make the trip at least once in the life of your yaris by law.
that is quite impressive, actually. Somehow I really doubt a normal person could get the car there, if it really is as difficult a trail as that dude was saying. I bet they were set up somehow. But that dude still didn't do enough to the car for it to be able to do that.

A good example of why you should think twice about buying a rental car, and how tough our Yari really are. (yes I know it got trashed pretty badly, but I wonder how far other $12k gas sippers would make it)

Better to abuse a rental than your own car.
