I just got this awesome little RC today -Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo. It's a fast little one right out of the box, it goes they say up to 50 mph with a second battery hooked up to it, I will soon see. Just wanted to share with you guys. Here is a few pictures:

i see the Traxxas radio controller hasn't changed much since i left this hobby 9 years ago LOL.

Traxxas are good RC units...my first one was a Traxxas Rustler (i think)...and i jumped that thing off of 1 story houses..so fun and durable!

You will have fun with this, buying hop-up parts (modding term for RC cars), swapping the lexan body covers, etc.

i was in that stage once, then it became airsoft, now its Yaris, the evolution of modding. Of the 3, the yaris is the most expensive but the most awarding AND practical.

Both me and the boyfriend have a 1/8 scale gas powered RC truck. I havn't run mine in over a year. He had his out a couple weeks ago. If I remember right, they're both HPI's... But I could be wrong. I'll see if I can get some pictures at some point of them (with my new Nikon D3000 DSLR I just got yesterday).

Sweet ride, I have been wanting to get a 1/16 to match my 1/10. But I bought the new Slash 4x4 instead.
