I think that's the Shuichi Shigeno AE86.

But yeah, back to the FT-86, get rid of that NFS style wing, and I'd take it.

In Japanese magazine CarTop Dec 2009 issue, they have a more street version concept of the car.....it house's similiar headlights like the Lexus IS 250, 350,IS F car series....

Just thought I'd add to to it :)

G's concept looks nice. All we need is solid pricing on this hopefully track version of the car and it's set~

I can see why you're saying that, but I think it's the new trend in automotive styling, not exactly one of the trends I like, but still nice.

However, the only real similarity that I can see is the A-pillar to the B-pillar.

why?

There is a similarity, but it isn't really that surprising. There are lots of similarities between vehicles designed during the same eras. Just look at sports cars during the
80's. All wedges.

Yup, and I think some models are going back to that wedge look, right?

Whatever this shape is called, I'm loving it!

I absolutely love the AE86 but I'm not 100% sold on this concept. I would like to see how it handles on the road. I would also like to see what they're going to start pricing these at My guess is no where near what AE86s were when they first came out
